Futurelearn.com is a website where leading Universities in the developed countries are partnering in contributing free courses to be offered online via this site. It is spearheaded by UK Open University (http://www.open.ac.uk ).
All that is required is to sign in and become a member and then select any courses and complete them online. After completing the course, a formal certificate of completion can be ordered from the University that contributed that course.

It is is similar to YouTube but site is dedicated to recordings of its conferences where worlds fascinating inventors, thinkers, speakers and renown scientists spread their ideas.
